Fulham Palace is inviting you to swap screens, pubs and crowded venues for sunset drinks, outdoor yoga and peaceful evenings in one of the capital’s hidden gardens.

Unitl 28 August, it is opening its historic three-acre walled garden after hours for the very first time. The new programme, Summer evenings in the walled garden, offers exclusive evening access every Thursday and Friday from 17.00 to 21.00, giving visitors the chance to unwind among centuries of planting, take part in outdoor yoga sessions or enjoy a champagne picnic as the sun sets.

Entry to the garden costs just £5, with yoga sessions priced at £16 and a Champagne at Sunset package available for £40, including entry for two, a bottle of chilled champagne, glasses and a reserved picnic blanket.

Outdoor yoga sessions will be hosted in partnership with Everybody Yoga and Still & Sound, set against the backdrop of the walled garden’s historic borders and fruit trees. Suitable for all abilities, participants can bring their own mat, hire one on the day or simply practise on the grass.

Nicola Price, Visitor and Commercial Manager at Fulham Palace, said: “Summer is the perfect time to enjoy the walled garden, and we wanted to create a new experience that allows people to make the most of long evenings in this beautiful setting. Whether you’re looking for a moment of calm, time with friends or simply a chance to enjoy the garden in a different light, summer evenings offer something special.”

The initiative marks a new chapter for Fulham Palace, helping the independent charity reach new audiences while showcasing the garden as a destination for wellbeing, relaxation and connection with nature. Every ticket purchased supports Fulham Palace Trust, the charity responsible for caring for the historic site and keeping it accessible to the public.

Tickets can be booked online at fulhampalace.org or purchased on the door.
