Fulham Palace will hold its 13th annual Apple Day on Sunday 5 October, continuing a tradition that has become a fixture in the local calendar.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm and is expected to draw residents and visitors to the historic site for a day of seasonal activities.
Apple Day features a market of over 50 stalls, offering handmade goods, produce, and crafts. The Palace’s garden team will lead tours of the walled garden and orchard, with opportunities to sample heritage apple varieties and take part in traditional apple pressing.
Other scheduled activities include a baking competition with junior and adult categories, family games, craft workshops, and live music on the main lawn. Food and drink will be available from the Drawing Room Café and other local vendors.
The event is ticketed, with proceeds supporting the Fulham Palace Trust, which oversees conservation and public programming at the site. Entry is priced at £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children, with a £1.00 surcharge for tickets purchased on the day.
Fulham Palace, located on Bishop’s Avenue, SW6 6EA, has hosted Apple Day annually since 2012. The event is part of the Trust’s broader efforts to engage the public with the site’s heritage and green space.
Further details and booking are available via the Fulham Palace website.
