The Light House founded by Nathan Austen and Megan Rose Lane

The Light House holds monthly workshops and day retreats

A new kind of creative and spiritual sanctuary has opened in Fulham. The Light House – Tattoo & Meditation Studio is the shared vision of founders Nathan Austen and Megan Rose Lane, who have combined their personal journeys into a space that offers both artistic expression and deep inner work.

Unlike traditional tattoo parlours, The Light House is designed as a calm, intentional environment. Nathan continues his tattoo practice here, but often integrates meditation coaching into his sessions, creating what one client described as “the most peaceful tattoo studio I’ve ever been to.” Alongside tattooing, the studio hosts a regular programme of classes and events: sound baths, meditation circles, men’s and women’s circles, breathwork, and embodiment sessions.

Monthly workshops and day retreats evolve with the seasons, curated with guest facilitators who share the studio’s values of authenticity and transformation. The team is selective about collaborators, ensuring each experience is heart-led and community-focused.

Megan Rose Lane grew up in Saddleworth, navigating challenges of self-image and mental health before embarking on a healing journey that she shared online during lockdown. Her openness resonated with thousands, leading her to become a trauma-informed, somatic coach. Today, she guides women through retreats, courses, and day sessions, helping them reconnect with their power and presence.

Nathan Austen, born in North London, found his path through meditation after years of instability and displacement. His time living at Mooji’s ashram in Portugal gave him a grounding in stillness and truth, which he later combined with creative tattooing in Croatia. Returning to London, Nathan now blends his artistry with coaching, leading men’s circles and offering one-to-one sessions that integrate shadow work, emotional integrity, and somatic awareness.

At its core, The Light House aims to be about connection. The studio has quickly become a sanctuary for those seeking calm and presence in the heart of Fulham. Whether through a tattoo session, a meditation circle, or a seasonal retreat, the space invites people to slow down, explore, and feel part of something meaningful.
