A new swimming school is set to open in the centre of Fulham Broadway.
The large site on the corner of Farm Lane and Jerdan Place has housed a succession of restaurants in recent years, most recently a Cote Brasserie, but has remained empty since it closed its doors in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic.
Now the GetSetGo Swim Academy has announced it is coming soon to the site, offering lessons to people of all ages, from water babies to adults.
GetSetGo is a growing chain, with an existing centre in Putney and another planned for South Kensington. It offers individual and group lessons for all ages and abilities, with facilities including a luxury pool, heated to 31 degrees centigrade, a poolside viewing gallery, play area and onsite drinks and snacks.
The chain says,“ Our stunning Fulham club is a destination in itself, designed with families in mind – featuring premium swim facilities, space to play, chill or grab a coffee and snack, and a children’s swim shop.”
As well as classes for babies and toddlers and older children, the club will also be open to adults either starting from scratch or returning to the water.

GetSetGo says,“ Our best-in-class learn-to-swim programme, expert instructors, and beautiful pools create a space where families feel welcome, supported, and inspired.
“ We’re passionate about water safety, confident technique, and meaningful progress at every stage.”
No opening date has yet been announced, but potential clients can add their names to its waiting list.
Luxury swimming clubs appear to be growing in popularity, with a number now open in the local area. The long established Fulham Swim School, just yards west of the Broadway on Dawes Road, provides professional lessons for children aged from three months up to ten years, in groups of no more than three.
Meanwhile just over the Fulham border in Edith Grove, the Chelsea Swim Spa says it has London’s warmest hydropool, heated to 33 degrees centigrade, offering lessons for children and adults as well as the opportunity to hire the pool privately for special occasions .
