Lawrence and Emily Hartley, the husband-and-wife team behind Le Petit Citron in Brook Green, have opened a second French restaurant in Fulham.
Their new venture La Bouffe, which started serving customer this month on Wandsworth Bridge Road, draws inspiration from the couple’s French heritage and their experiences dining in traditional Parisian bistros.
La Bouffe offers a menu of classic French dishes including snails Montorgueil, onglet steak with Café de Paris butter, confit de canard, and Paris Brest.
A Prix Fixe option is available for £33. The venue features a bijou terrace and a light, airy dining room, with décor designed to evoke the charm of a neighbourhood bistro.
The site was previously occupied by a local café and underwent a full refurbishment before reopening. The Hartleys have positioned La Bouffe as a small, independently run venue with a focus on sustainably sourced ingredients and warm hospitality. The head chef, Harry, previously worked at City Social and Le Petit Citron.
La Bouffe, is located at 116 Wandsworth Bridge Road, Fulham SW6 2TF
