Fulham Broadway’s new “swim club”, GetSetSwim has announced it will open on Saturday, 16 May.
The club has taken over the site on the corner of Jerdan Place and Farm Lane which was formerly home to restaurants including Cote Brasserie. Work is currently underway installing new windows and the club’s colourful frontage.
GetSetSwim promises calm pools, small classes, and expert instructors to help everyone from babies and toddlers up to adults to learn to swim with confidence at their own pace.
The new family friendly club offers a new purpose built pool heated to 31-32C, unisex changing rooms with private changing pods, a poolside viewing gallery, play area and onsite drinks and snacks.
Early Bird bookings for the new club are now open. Find out more at here. .
This small area around Jerdan Place is rapidly becoming Fulham’s “Wellness Quarter” with a range of existing clubs, including PureGym, Fulham Boxing Club and the recently opened Pulse Sauna and Ice, soon to be joined by two more new additions.
At 13 -15 Jerdan Place, work is underway converting the site to the new home of STRONG Pilates.
This Australian import blends reformer Pilates with HIIT (high interval intensity training) with its patented ‘Rowformer’ machine - part Pilates reformer, part rowing machine - to provide what it describes as a full-body workout combining high-intensity with low-impact, controlled strength training.
It describes its classes as “45 minutes of Row. Ride. Reform. Pilates principles, strength training, and intentional cardio – programmed through expert-designed 12-week movement cycles that progress week by week, supported by intelligent, trackable erg programming.”
STRONG Pilates’ managing director, former Australian cricketer John Hastings claims this is what the UK market has been crying out for. Find out more here.
Work is also underway around the corner at 14 Farm Lane, once home to Fulham’s main post office, creating a new indoor golf club called Golf SQ.
This club, which will be open seven days a week, promises four Trackman golf simulator bays, a lounge, full bar and working area and expert tuition for players at all levels.
Fulham already has one indoor golf centre, the Caddi Club in the Chelsea Creek development in Imperial Road, but this will be the first to launch in the centre of town. Find out more about the new club, coming soon.
