Santa is busy doing double duty in Fulham this December, greeting young visitors at two local grottos.

In Jerdan Place off Fulham Broadway, Fulham Broadway BID's outdoor Christmas Grotto opened its doors in time for North End Road’s hugely popular Christmas Market on Saturday, December 6.

After having a rest, the big man will be back in residence from Tuesday December 9 through the next week. Visits to meet him are completely free.

Here’s when to go along and say hello to Santa:

Tuesday 9 to Friday 12 December, 2pm to 6pm

Saturday 13 December, 10:30am to 5:30pm

Sunday 14 December, 12 noon to 5pm

Santa will also be opening up his grotto at Sands End Arts and Community Centre in Peterborough Road on Saturday, December 13, offering children to meet him, be given a special gift and find out if they made it on to the naughty or nice list.

The SEACC Grotto will be open on December 13 and 14 then 20, 21 and 22 from 10.30am till 3.30pm. Tickets cost £6.50 per children and can be booked in advance.

The Grotto is part of a festive programme at the community centre, which also includes a Christmas concert by Sherry Youth Chamber Orchestra on December 14 at 6pm; a Community Christmas Meal on December 19 from 7pm till 9pm and the Wiggle Waggle Community Christmas Party, offering fun for all ages on December 21 from 12.30pm till 3pm. Find out more and book tickets here.

There are more opportunities for children to meet the man in red at our newest venue, Fulham Pier, where Christmas events include Santa’s Storytelling sessions on December 20 and 21 and Santa’s Brunch, also on December 21.

Other fun happenings include Santa’s Roller Disco on December 13 and 14, a riverside Christmas Carol Singalong on December 17 and a special puppet show, Scruff’s Christmas Adventure on December 21. Find out more and book tickets at here.
