MoreYoga claims to be London’s most affordable chain
January 5, 2026
Fulham residents resolving to get fitter in 2026 will have more choice than ever, with a string of new clubs and studios taking over former stores and cafes and opening their doors by spring.
First to launch is MoreYoga, which plans to open its new Fulham South Studio next Monday, January 12 in Down House, 287 Wandsworth Bridge Road, at the foot of the road by Wandsworth Bridge.
MoreYoga, which already has over 40 studios across London, claims to be London’s most affordable chain, offering classes at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and in a range of styles, from gentler Morning Flow or Hatha to dynamic Vinyasa and Rocket and Restorative and Chakra Yoga to help de-stress and unwind.
There are also Pilates classes and members have access to the chain’s virtual studio, Wellness TV. Pre-launch Early bird memberships to the Fulham South Club are now available.
It will be followed by an unusual new addition to North End Road, the Pulse Sauna and Ice Club, which is taking over number 340 - 342, the former home of Argos.
This new flagship club promises to bring sauna and ice bath culture to Fulham, offering contrast therapy in the shape of a traditional sauna for up to 25 people and four crystal clear cold plunges chilled to between four and ten degrees.
The club says contrast therapy is the simple practice of moving between hot and cold, claiming that this switch between temperatures helps your body recover, boosts circulation, and gives your mind a reset.

It adds that this is an ancient ritual with modern benefits, and one of the most enjoyable ways to support everyday wellbeing, though it admits it might be only for the brave!
The club’s launch date has not yet been announced, but you can sign up for its newsletter and follow its progress on its web site.
There’s another challenge in store at 13 - 15 Jerdan Place, with the arrival in spring of STRONG Pilates.
This Australian import blends reformer Pilates with HIIT (high interval intensity training) with its patented ‘Rowformer’ machine - part Pilates reformer, part rowing machine - to provide what it describes as a full-body workout combining high-intensity with low-impact, controlled strength training.
It describes its classes as “45 minutes of Row. Ride. Reform. Pilates principles, strength training, and intentional cardio – programmed through expert-designed 12-week movement cycles that progress week by week, supported by intelligent, trackable erg programming.”

The Fulham club is one of eleven, including another in Ealing scheduled for opening by March, according to STRONG Pilates’ managing director, former Australian cricketer John Hastings, who claims this is what the UK market has been crying out for. You can find out more at here.
STRONG Pilates, which will be adjacent to PureGym, at 25 Jerdan Place, is not the only newcomer to this small enclave off Fulham Broadway.
In April, it will be joined by Get Set Go Swim Academy which as we reported in October, is taking over the large site on the corner of Farm Lane which was formerly home to Cote Brasserie.

Will offer individual and group lessons for all ages and abilities. Picture: Get Set Go!
It is now preparing to launch, saying: “ Opening April 2026, our newest swim club in Fulham is designed for your family. Warm, calm pools, small classes, and expert instructors help children and adults swim with confidence – at their own pace.
“Parents can relax in our beautiful spaces with a cuppa, catch up on emails, or simply enjoy watching the lesson, while children can play safely in our dedicated play area.”
The academy has now opened its waitlist for early booking access. Find out more. at
