Enjoy Free Concerts at St John’s Church


Summer of music on offer in North End Road

St John’s Fulham is continuing its programme of free concerts this summer,  offering a mixture of classical performances from emerging artists and established musicians. 

The concerts, presented by St John's Fulham Music Association, include both Thursday lunchtime recitals starting at 12.30pm and Saturday evening concerts beginning at 6.30pm

Here’s what’s coming up: 

Thursday 14 May, 12.30pm: Violist Wyatt Li and Pianist Anson Lam performing Lascurain & Bridge.

Saturday 23 May, 6.30pm: Japanese harp Koto players Hiroko and Homare Shimada and Kayoko Asatomi.

Thursday 4 June, 12.30pm: Solo pianists Rayan So plays music from composers including Bach and Haydn

Thursday 11 June, 12.30pm: Classical guitarist Cameron Murray plays music from composers including Schubert and Ponce.

Saturday 20 June, 6.30pm: Tchaikovsky violin concerto with violinist Megumi Rolfe and Pianist Michiko Nagae

Saturday 4 July, 6.30pm: Baroque Chamber Concert featuring Ensemble Avalon performing Bach, Handel, Telemann. With Baroque instruments, Harpsichord, Baroque violin, Baroque flute, Violone and Soprano.

All these concerts are free to attend, with donations invited in support of children with special educational needs in Fulham and the St John’s Building Fund. 

The concerts at the North End Road church have steadily built a loyal following, helped in part by the church’s commitment to accessibility and its support for local causes. The series also maintains a WhatsApp group for updates and reminders; those wishing to join can contact Meg on 07754 149870.
