London’s newest riverside destination, Fulham Pier, has officially launched its debut Christmas season, switching on its festive lights for the very first time.

The pier, located near Stevenage Road, is transformed into a magical forest-themed celebration titled Into the Woods, running until early January 2026.

Visitors arriving at the riverfront will be greeted by giant pine trees, twinkling riverwalk paths, and interactive digital art installations that reveal snowy forests and miniature alpine villages through frosted windows.

The decorations set the stage for a packed programme of events designed to bring families, friends, and couples together in a festive atmosphere.

Festive Highlights

  • Workshops & Performances: Wreath-making with Argento, puppet shows by Little Angel Theatre, and festive roller discos.
  • Markets & Music: A Christmas market showcasing local artisans, Opera by Candlelight, and live music on Christmas Eve.
  • Family Fun: Santa story times, Santa’s Brunch, and a family-friendly Noon Year’s Eve celebration.
  • Seasonal Dining: Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt’s festive menu at Brasserie Constance, alongside Christmas cocktails at Flo Bar and the London Essence Cocktail Bar.
  • Special Events: Candlelight Concerts, Moët Champagne Afternoon Teas, comedy nights, and free Christmas movie screenings.

Duncan Mitchell, Creative Programming Manager at Fulham Pier, said, “Our Into the Woods theme is all about creating a bit of escapism on the riverfront — somewhere people can slow down, explore and feel part of something special. It’s our first Christmas at Fulham Pier, and we wanted it to feel genuinely magical — from the large scale of the decorations to the food, music and sense of community.”
