Local hospital charity CW+ is encouraging residents to make 2026 the year they take on a memorable challenge in support of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The charity has launched its latest fundraising events calendar, offering a wide range of activities for people of all abilities.
CW+ is inviting supporters to sign up for runs, bike rides, treks, abseils and skydives, with all funds raised helping to improve care for patients and staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The call follows a successful year of fundraising in 2025, when participants completed everything from night-time 10K races in Battersea Park to skydives from 10,000 feet.
The 2026 programme includes several major events. Skydives will take place at locations across the UK, offering an exhilarating experience for those seeking an adrenaline challenge. The Thames Bridges Trek will guide participants across a series of historic London bridges. The Royal Parks Half Marathon will take runners on a 13.1-mile route through four of London’s Royal Parks. Battersea Park’s Chase the Sun and Moon event will offer a flat 5K or 10K route suitable for beginners and experienced runners alike. Supporters will also have the opportunity to abseil down the side of West Middlesex University Hospital, while the Ealing Half Marathon will provide a popular closed-road race through west London.
Money raised through these events will help CW+ continue its work to enhance patient experience, improve staff wellbeing and upgrade clinical environments across the Trust’s hospitals.

Chloe Roberts, Public Fundraising Manager at CW+, said the charity’s challenge events play an important role in bringing the community together. She said the charity supports participants throughout their fundraising journey and that the money raised makes a meaningful difference to patients and staff.
