Cinema Tickets Just £6.50 at the Riverside Studios

This August cinema tickets will be available for just £6.50 at the Riverside Studios and there is a wide range of films to see.

Where the Crawdads Sing is currently being shown along with Paris, Texas and Fire of Love, opens this weekend, about a couple's fiery love for volcanoes (30 July). Further ahead, Olivia Coleman stars in Joyride and Hit the Road, the winner of the top prize at the London Film Festival is also showing. Both open on 5 August - and there is a 'Pay What You Want' screening on 9 August.

The Bitesize Festival winds down at the end of July but the last weekend provides an opportunity to see Vrag: Stalin's new Truth; Welcome! and Boris Live. Tickets are just £10 each and all shows are under an hour.

Early in August Riverside Dive In Elders Drama group, under the direction of Cat’s Whiskers Community Arts, presents “The Seven Ages of Us” – a reminiscence revue in which the company recalls some of the changes that the older generation have experienced, through sketches, song and conversation.
