Fulham's Festivities Now in Full Swing


With Christmas lights, carols and visits from Santa


Father Christmas will be at Fulham Palace

Fulham’s festivities are now in full swing and Parsons Green furniture store One.World is joining in with its first ever Christmas Carol Celebration.

The store has joined forces with the talented team from Archer Street, Soho to create a magical evening of carol singing, dancing and general Christmas spirit on Friday 13 December.

Tickets, priced £5 include entry, a complimentary welcome drink, candle and a song sheet. There will be a bar to keep visitors refreshed throughout the evening. Kids welcome and are free under the age of 16. There will also be exclusive offers in the store on the night.

The store, opposite Parsons Green tube station, says tickets are limited, but are still available here.

Fulham Palace’s festivities are also continuing through December with events including The Palace at Christmas, a guided tour of its decorated historic rooms on 12 December and visits from Father Christmas on 14 and 15 December, as well as the Palace’s Festive Light Display, open every evening from 5pm till 9pm until 22 December.

Sands End Arts and Community Centre in Peterborough Road is also celebrating, with Santa now in residence, welcoming young visitors to his grotto over the next two weekends, December 14, 15 and 21 and 22 from 2.30pm till 6pm on Saturdays and 10pm till 2pm on Sundays. Tickets cost £6.50 per child, which includes a special gift and can be booked here.

The arts and community centre is also hosting a Community Christmas Meal on 20 December from 7pm till 9pm and the SEACC and Wiggle Waggle Community Christmas Party on 22 December from 12pm till 2pm. Find out about all these events and more on this link.

On Monday 9 December at 7pm you can celebrate the festive season with Maggie’s West London at its annual Carols by Candlelight. An evening filled with Christmas carols, spirit of community, and festive cheer – all while raising vital funds to support those affected by cancer.

In the beautiful setting of All Saints Church, a selection of classic carols will be performed by the iconic Fulham Belles - with guest readings from Clare Balding and Janet Ellis.

Tickets cost £25 for adults, £5 for children or £50 for a family of four.
