Organisers of the Parsons Green Fair are appealing for volunteers to help deliver one of Fulham’s most popular community events, returning to the green on Saturday 4 July.
The annual fair, which attracts thousands of visitors, combines family entertainment, live music and local food with fundraising for Fulham Good Neighbours, a charity supporting older people in the borough.
Volunteers are needed throughout the day to help keep the event running smoothly. Shifts are available between 9am and 6.30pm, with roles ranging from welcoming visitors and providing information to assisting lost children, litter collection and helping in the unlikely event of an evacuation. Anyone able to lend a hand can contact info@parsonsgreenfair.org or call Nicky Sansom on 07715 493 037.
The fair itself promises a lively mix of attractions. More than 100 independent stalls will line the green, selling everything from children’s clothes and antiques to luxury dog food, kaftans and handmade gifts. Local drama and music schools will perform on the main stage throughout the day, while younger visitors can enjoy a host of free activities including donkey rides, magic shows, a circus workshop, Punch and Judy performances and a petting zoo. Only the fairground rides carry a small charge.
Food lovers will find plenty to tempt them, with stalls serving Arancini pizza, grilled favourites from Randall’s Butcher, churros from Agua Na Boca, crepes from Crepe Royale, Japanese dishes from Akindo, Indian street food from CraziJalfrezi, doughnuts, ice cream from Mr Softee and a Piña Colada bar. Visitors are encouraged to come hungry and make a day of it.

Last year’s fair drew more than a hundred stallholders and crowds from across west London, raising vital funds for Fulham Good Neighbours. This year’s organisers hope to build on that success with the help of local volunteers.
“Parsons Green Fair is a true community celebration,” said organiser Nicky Sansom. “Every volunteer plays a part in making it safe, welcoming and fun for everyone.”
The fair runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 4 July 2026 at Parsons Green, SW6, with proceeds supporting Fulham Good Neighbours.
