Fulham Camerata, the local community choir, is set to fill All Saints Church with festive music on Saturday 13 December. The concert begins at 6.30pm and promises a joyful evening of carols, readings and audience participation.
The programme will feature much-loved classics such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Once in Royal David’s City, alongside seasonal gems including the Sussex Carol, John Rutter’s Nativity Carol, William Matthias’ Sir Christémas and Ben Ponniah’s Golden Rose Carol. Audience members will also be invited to join in with a rousing rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful, ensuring the evening captures the spirit of Christmas.
Geraldine Cooper from Fulham Camerata said: “The concert has some beautiful Christmas music in it and some wonderful festive readings.”
Founded as a welcoming community choir, Fulham Camerata brings together singers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The group rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings at All Saints Fulham, and its repertoire spans classical choral works, contemporary compositions and seasonal favourites. Beyond its Christmas concert, the choir has a busy calendar, with a spring concert scheduled for Saturday 21 March and a summer performance on Saturday 27 June.
This year’s Christmas concert is non-ticketed, with charitable donations on the night supporting All Saints Fulham’s Church Hall Project.
