Vietnamese restaurant Pho, has opened its doors on Fulham Broadway, in premises at 4 Broadway Chambers, formerly housing BBQ chain Bodean’s.

The new restaurant specialises in a range of the spicy soups that give it its name, as well as curries, noodle and rice bowls, spring and summer rolls and Vietnamese pancakes.

Pho was first launched in the summer of 2005 by founders Stephen and Juliette Wall, who fell in love with Vietnamese food after travelling to the country. They say they made the decision to open their own restaurant while sitting on high stools, slurping pho bo in Ho Chi MInh City.

18 years later, they run a chain of 40 restaurants across London and around the country, serving healthy Vietnamese food which is cooked fresh in onsite kitchens every day.

Pho fans can now enjoy slurping seven days a week, from midday till 12.30am from Monday to Saturday and 11pm on Sundays, either by eating in or ordering Pho to Go. You can check out what's on offer on its web site.

This is the second branch of Pho in our borough, alongside a restaurant within the food court at Westfield London in Shepherd’s Bush, and there are also nearby restaurants in Battersea, Chiswick and Ealing.

The new launch adds to the mix of Oriental cuisines on offer in this corner of the Broadway. It joins the ever-popular Wagamama with its Japanese inspired pan Asian menu on the first floor of Fulham Broadway, Korean BBQ restaurant Yori on the other side of Fulham Road, and Sichuan Po Po, offering Chinese street food a short walk further east.
