Investigation to be launched after trained derailed on Tuesday night
District Line services between Acton Town and Ealing Broadway are suspended on Wednesday morning, March 2 after a train derailed at Ealing Broadway on Tuesday night.
There is currently no service between the station and Acton Town following the incident, which involved a train carrying a small number of passengers.
Steve White, Operations Director for the District line, said: "Following a signal failure towards the end of service last night, a District line train approaching Ealing Broadway station subsequently became derailed as it crossed a set of points.
"No one was injured in this incident and our engineers are working closely with the Rail Accident Investigation Branch on site to investigate."
Transport for London said Piccadilly line trains will still serve Ealing Common station and there is a good service on the rest of the District line.
London buses and Great Western trains are accepting Underground tickets.
