Residents Urged to Get Going this Summer

Wide range of sports and activities on offer across borough

Residents are being urged to Get Going this summer and join in one of a wide range of activities, including some that people might never have considered.

Dodgeball, walking netball and paddleboarding are among the activities on offer as part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Get Going campaign.

The council is promoting healthier, more active lifestyles through its activities – many of which are free – which are spread across the borough and suitable for beginners.

" We are really want to movitate our residents to live healthy and happy lives," says Cllr Vivienne Lukey, H&F Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care.

" With the range of fun activities on offer this summer I hope as many residents as possible get involved with a friend or neighbour and get those heart rates elevated."

For those who are less keen on sports, there is Tai Chi and various walks, or for the more energetic, the council is offering urban boxing and zumba.
