Brasserie Blanc has announced the forthcoming closure of its Fulham Reach location, marking the end of an eight-year presence on the banks of the River Thames. The restaurant will serve its final guests on Sunday 26 October, according to a statement issued by the group this week.

The chain opened at the riverside site in 2017 as part of the Fulham Reach development. Known for its floor-to-ceiling windows, terrace seating, and views across the Thames, the brasserie became a popular destination for locals and visitors seeking classic French cuisine in a relaxed setting.

In its statement, the restaurant thanked patrons for their loyalty and shared memories, describing the decision to close as a difficult one. “After eight wonderful years of sharing food and conversation… we have made the difficult decision to close the doors,” the message read. Guests with existing reservations are being contacted directly, and the group has invited diners to visit its other locations across London and the UK.

Brasserie Blanc is the casual dining arm of celebrated French chef Raymond Blanc, whose flagship restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, holds two Michelin stars. The Brasserie Blanc brand was launched to bring accessible French cooking to a wider audience, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and regional dishes. The Fulham Reach site was one of several London locations, alongside branches in Chancery Lane, Southbank, and the Tower of London.

The closure comes amid ongoing challenges for the hospitality sector, including rising costs, staffing pressures, and shifting consumer habits. While no specific reason was given for the decision, the group’s message emphasised continuity elsewhere in its portfolio.

The restaurant group has not announced any immediate plans for a replacement venue in the area.
