Recycling and Rubbish Collection Dates over the Holidays

Hammersmith and Fulham Council is running a slightly amended bin collection service over the Christmas period.

Several days will see their collections pushed back with everything to be back to normal by Monday 5 January.

Garden waste collections meanwhile will be put on pause, with no service from 24 December until 15 January.

For residents who normally get an on-street rubbish collection there is also the option to leave your Christmas tree out to be picked up.

The only rules are that it must be a real tree, be visible, have all decorations and pots removed, and not be blocking the pavement.

The tree must also be put out before 7am on the day your collection would normally take place, with the service to be run from 5 January until 23 January 23.

If you do not have an on-street collection you can drop off your Christmas tree at the below locations:

  • Fulham Palace Road Cemetery
  • Loris Road Community Gardens
  • New Kings Road, by Eelbrook Common
  • Normand Park
  • Ravenscourt Park, by the football pitch
  • South Park

  • Wormwood Scrubs car park
