Olympia has unveiled its seasonal event lineup for winter 2025, ahead of its 140th anniversary in 2026 and the phased opening of its £1.3 billion redevelopment.

The venue, which first opened on Boxing Day in 1886, will host three major events this year, continuing its legacy as a destination for festive entertainment in London.

The first event, the Spirit of Christmas Fair, will take place from 3 to 9 November. The fair will feature over 600 independent brands, artisan food producers, and themed workshops. A new addition this year includes a dining experience hosted by chef Kate Austen. Entry also includes access to The Luxury Travel Fair.

The Ideal Home Show Christmas will follow from 26 to 30 November , offering seasonal décor ideas, food demonstrations, and interactive workshops. Guest speakers include Annie Sloan, Atul Kochhar, Clodagh McKenna, and Eric Lanlard. Visitors will also have access to The Eat & Drink Festival and The Cake & Bake Show.

Winter Funland will make its London debut at Olympia from 12 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. Previously held in Manchester and Birmingham, the event will include more than 20 fairground rides, an indoor ice rink, circus performances, and food stalls. Attendance is expected to exceed 100,000 visitors.

These events coincide with the final stages of Olympia’s transformation into a cultural and entertainment district. The redevelopment includes a 3,800-capacity music venue, a 1,575-seat theatre, two hotels, 30 food and drink outlets, a new school, and extensive public spaces. The phased opening began with the launch of Wetherby Pembridge school in September, with further openings planned throughout 2026 and early 2027.

Olympia’s redevelopment is led by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International, with design contributions from Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC.
