Chatterbooks

Love reading? Enjoy talking about books? Then Chatterbooks is for you. Fun, free activities and discussions about books;

Chatterbooks are open to library members aged 5 to 12 years old. Please speak to a member of staff for more details.

Hammersmith Library One Tuesday a month, 3.45pm - 4.45pm Contact the library for more information
Askew Road Library Second and fourth Friday of the month, 2pm - 3.30pm This group is for home educated children.

Children's arts and crafts clubs

Fulham Library, Monday of the month, 4pm - 5pm. Term time only. Suitable for children aged 5+, children under the age of 8 must be supervised at all times. There is a charge of 50p per child per session to cover the cost of materials.

French clubs for kids

Shepherd's Bush Library Friday, 6pm - 7pm. Term time only. Suitable for children 5+, under 8s need to be accompanied by an adult. Also Second Sunday of the month, 11.15am - 12 noon, suitable for children under the age of 5

Homework clubs

Shepherd's Bush Library, Maths homework club, Monday, 4pm - 6pm; English homework club
Wednesday, 4pm - 6pm; English and maths homework help for children aged 7- 11 Saturday, 10.15am - 11.30am. Term time only.
Hammersmith Library Monday & Thursday, 4.30pm – 5.30pm and Sunday 12 noon – 2pm Term time only

Italian story, play and rhyme time

Weekly playgroup with stories and rhymes in Italian. £5 donation per session. No need to book, just come along.

Reading support

Hammersmith Library, Friday, 3.45pm - 4.30pm. Join a reading club with a difference, offering some extra help and encouragement. For children aged 5 to 10.
Shepherd's Bush Library Saturday, 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Come along to Izzy's Reading Corner - one to one reading support for primary school aged children. Term time only.

Under fives story and rhyme time sessions

Please arrive before the advertised time and be aware that some sessions can become busy and full very quickly. To ensure the safety of the children/parents and other library users at times staff will need to limit the number of participants.
