Hammersmith and Fulham Council is inviting talented local musicians, traders and craftspeople to apply now to join this year’s Summer Festivals.
These hugely popular annual events offer all day music and entertainment and a huge array of stalls on traffic free town centre streets.
In Hammersmith, the Summer Festival will take place on Saturday June 20, from 10am till 6pm. It will include 100+ pop-up stalls selling arts, crafts, jewellery, vintage, candles, home accessories, cupcakes and more, plus an international Food Quarter, children’s workshops, music stages and street entertainment.
The festival will take place on King Street, Lyric Square and for the first time, Unity Square - part of the new Civic Campus constructed around Hammersmith’s Town Hall.
It will be followed by the North End Road Summer Festival, coming to Fulham on Saturday July 12 from 10am till 6pm. It will also offer live music, street entertainment and a huge range of stalls selling locally made goods as well as food from around the world, lining each side of the traffic free road.
H&F Council says, “We're looking for talented musicians with a love of performing who live in H&F. Showcase your music at one of our vibrant summer street festivals in Hammersmith or Fulham.
“This is a great opportunity to gain exposure, connect with the community, and be part of an incredible atmosphere.
“If you're interested, email us by 18 April at TrafficFreeEvents@lbhf.gov.uk and share a contact number for you and links to your performances.”
