With more than 130 events by over 400 artists over next six days
Hammersmith and Fulham's own arts festival is back from today, June 6, with over 130 events presented across our borough by more then 400 artists during the next six days until Sunday, June 12.
These include literary events, the visual arts, music, performance, theatre and film at our main theatres, churches, arts and community centres, galleries, libraries and other venues.
Here are some of the highlights of the opening days of the festival.
MONDAY JUNE 6:
In Voice and Verse: Elizabeth to Elizabeth, an uplifting celebration of British history for the Queen's 90th birthday at All Saints Fulham.
Addison Singers Jazz Choir free Pop Up Performance in Lyric Square
The Hepsibah Gallery: Live poetry performance by Sacha Vitorovich
Masbro Centre: youth club free arts and crafts and pottery, life drawing and sculpture sessions
Lyric Hammersmith and The Bhavan: Artists' Hubs. throughout the week, offering all artists space to meet and use the facilities and have creative conversations.
Bush Theatre; hard hat tour offering the opportunity to see the theatre's refurbishment in progress

Bishop Creighton House: The Safe Society: Mind Games

H&F's libraries are also hosting a range of events, including The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters Art Exhibition in Fulham and exhibitions of Brook Green artists of the past and Battle of the Somme in Hammersmith. All local libraries will also be celebrating National Book start week with the theme Under the Sea.
