The Trinity Hospice charity shop is celebrating Christmas with a special late opening night on Wednesday, December 23. Pop along to the shop, at 785 Fulham Road after 5.30pm and browse through clothes, books, pictures and jewellery to the sounds of festive music.

Looking for an extra special Christmas card? Bizara in Moore Park Road, close to Fulham Broadway offers a range of personalised, hand-crafted cards.

The Fulham store is the third branch of a card business started by designer Zara Swan,  who designs plain cards with a basic outline. The shop's team then personalise the cards by adding special messages, names - and lots of sparkle and glitter. If you have a Fulham football fan in your family, a Half Season Ticket guarantees their seat for the entire second half of the Barclays Premier League season, starting with the home game against Portsmouth on Saturday January 9. Fulham Palace Garden Centre, which gives all profits to to Fairbridge, the national charity supporting young people from disadvantaged areas, has all sorts of ideas for presents, including natural beauty products, candles, planters and a range of pewter giftware including mussel extractors, cheese knives and bottle stoppers.

Looking for a special gift for a music lover? HMV has produced a limited edition 18 month calendar called My Inspiration, featuring pictures of some of our greatest rock icons and the songs/lyrics they have personally selected as being inspirational to them. The stars included in the calendar include David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan. Here's an unusual idea for a Fulham foodie. The Oswald Stoll Foundation's Pryors Bank Cafe has launched a range of Forces Sauces, including Old Contemptible Mustard as well as ketchup and brown sauce.

The sauces, which are made onsite at the cafe by Pryors Bank apprentices are the brainchild of Bob Barrett, a former homeless veteran and Mike Logue, the Pryors Bank Café manager, who say that should Forces Sauces be a commercial success, the Foundation will be able to open up further apprentice roles or other work opportunities for Veterans, as well as raising vital funds to support the vulnerable and disabled ex-Service personnel living at the Foundation.

The sauces are available now at Pryors Bank Cafe at the Putney Bridge end of Bishop's Park.
