There's no need to step outside SW6 this Christmas - all you need to celebrate is right here on the doorstep.
We've put together a guide to all the celebrating, shopping and dining in Fulham in the run-up to to the big day.
Fulham Brass Band will play their annual Christmas concert at All Saints Church Fulham on Friday, December 10 at 7.30pm, performing a medley of favourite seasonal tunes. Ticket prices £5 (£3 concessions) in advance from the church or £6 (£4 concessions) on the door.
Also on December 11, there are Christmas puppet making classes at Studio 106 Art Gallery in Dawes Road.
The classes, run by artist Mai Yoshida are suitable for three to 11 year-olds and participation costs £20, including art materials. To book, email hello@maiyoshida.com or call 07775 563 437.
Fancy a night at the opera? St John's Church on Walham Green is presenting Amahl and the Night Visitors, a one hour opera for Christmas by Giancarlo Menotti, on Sunday December 12 at 7.30pm.
The opera features Elizabeth Capener as Mother, Ned Hiley as Amahl, Alberto Sousa as Kaspar, Robert Presley as Melchior and Terence Ayebare as Balthazar. Fully staged by Fiona Williams, accompanied by the St John's Chamber Players and conducted by Ben Woodward.

Fulham Palace is hosting a traditional Christmas Carol Concert on Sunday, December 12 at 5.30pm. The concert will be in the palace's Victorian chapel with the Tabard Singers. Tickets cost £15, which includes seasonal refreshments.

On Sunday December 19, Fulham Palace will be visited by Father Christmas from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Bring the kids along to meet him and don’t forget their Christmas lists as a Christmas post box will be available for sending letters to the North Pole. Tickets cost £2 per child, with no booking required.
