Sainsbury's Plans for Fulham Wharf Revealed |
" Updated and improved " regeneration scheme on show at store Sainsbury's in Townmead Road is holding a three day public exhibition to show off what it describes as "the updated and improved plans for the redevelopment of the Fulham Wharf, Sands End regeneration project". Fulham Wharf is the derelict site to the west of the existing Sainsbury's car park, and plans involve demolishing the existing store and replacing it with a new improved store, plus new housing, public space and an extended river walk. Local people are invited to view the plans in the store, and discuss them with members of the development team, who will be on hand throughout. The plans can be seen on: Thursday July 15, from 3pm to 8pm Friday July 16 , from 3pm to 7pm Saturday July 17, from 10am to 1pm Sainsbury's says it is very keen that the community have an opportunity to view the plans, which will form part of its planning application which is due to be submitted shortly to Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
