Police Appeal for Witnesses to Armed Robbery


Jewellery stolen from Moore Park Road shop

Fulham Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a violent armed robbery in Moore Park Road, close to Fulham Broadway.

The robbery happened at 6.40pm on Friday January 8 inside a card shop.

Police say three male suspects, all thought to be in aged in their late teens or early 20's and with their faces covered entered the premises armed with what are believed to be handguns.

They threatened staff and stole a quantity of personal jewellery.

Two people sustained head injuries and required hospital treatment. One victim was a woman aged around 20 who had a slight injury to her head. The male victim who is in his forties
had a significant head injury requiring stitches. They have both since been discharged from hospital.

The three suspects then fled the shop on foot in the direction of Britannia Road.

There have been no arrests to date.
