Summer Festival Coming to North End Road

The North End Road Summer Festival returns this month with a host of live music, street entertainment and over 120 stalls.

The road will be closed for the day on Saturday 24 June with the festival beginning at 10am and live music on three stages running from 11pm until the end of the event at 6pm

Acts include Hammersmith-based Abba Stars UK plus, jazz, rock, soul, DJ’s and more. Performers also include Fulham’s very own Lost in London Jazz Ensemble. The The Rhythm Studio, DJ Piper and DJ Boots will also be appearing.

There will be street entertainment including Puff the Dragon, a Bubble Wizard, Lord and Lady Bloom stilt walking duo and Granny Turismo.

In addition you will find childrens’ workshops and toddler area, outdoor seating area.

The majority of the stalls at the event will be run by local businesses and they will be selling street food from around the world as well as arts, accessories, candles, vintage, t-shirts, jewellery and much more.

From jewellery seller Moonstone Panda, to alpaca wool clothing specialists Suri Shop, florist Designedbybexx and homemade preserves from Winseye Arts & Crafts, there’ll be a wide range of products to purchase.

You can still visit traditional market traders for all your fruit and veg needs plus, street food on offer will include a modern take on fish and chips from Twist and Fry and traditional, crispy Persian treats from Tahdig Lover.

“Our seasonal North End Road festivals are always hugely popular,” said Cllr Ben Coleman, Deputy Leader of Hammersmith & Fulham Council.

“We’ve got amazing stalls run by small local businesses, delicious street food from around the world and hours of free live music for everyone. Come on down and join us.”
