Local Artists Raise Funds for Stroke Sufferers

Exhibition at the 'You and Me Seafood' Restaurant on King St

A group of local artists are mounting an exhibition of paintings at the You & Me Seafood Restaurant, 377 King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9NJ, from March 28th 2004 for four weeks.

Christopher Biggins, who cares passionately about stroke services, will be one of the celebrity guests supporting this fund-raising exhibition.

Net proceeds of all sales will be for the sole benefit of the Riverside Stroke Group, which forms part of the Stroke Associations community services and has been helping stroke sufferers in Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea , Hammersmith & Fulham as well as Chiswick for over 15 years.

Seven artists will be exhibiting; three are members of the Riverside Stroke Group two of them having suffered a stroke in the last four years. All artists have generously offered to give 50% of all sales to the charity (registered Charity no 211015).

Paintings will be on view and for sale during the month of April and customers can enjoy a drink, a simple or elaborate delicious meal at amazingly low prices. Original paintings cost from as little as £95.
