Travel advice

Allow plenty of time to get to the fireworks. Viewing areas fill up early, so you may miss out if you're late.
Travelling back may be easier from another station or bus stop so check options for your return journey before you go
Be aware of station closures - see festive leaflet.
Tube stations may close if they become overcrowded - check alternative routes before you travel
If using Embankment station you will only be able to leave via Villiers Street
Westminster Bridge will be accessible from south of the river only, between 20:00 and 01:00
Some stations will be 'exit only' so you may not be able to go back the same way you arrived
Golden Jubilee Bridges will be closed to pedestrians from 20:00 to around 00:30 when crowds have eased

Safety tips

Crowds attending the fireworks display make the event unsuitable for buggies
Stations are unsuitable meeting places due to large crowds
Drink responsibly and remember that drinking or carrying open alcohol is banned on public transport
