| The London Wetland Centre is a wildlife reserve visitor attraction just 25 minutes from central London. Acclaimed as the best urban site in Europe to watch wildlife, it supports a wealth of wetland biodiversity, in particular wild birds which arrive in their thousands from around the globe. It is a haven for people, whether relaxing watching the wildlife from one of our special viewing hides, enjoying a walk around the reserve or having a meal in our Water’s Edge Restaurant. There is a varied programme of events at the centre for all visitors, including free guided walks and tours. Members of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) have the added benefit of free entry to all nine Wetland Centres in the UK and discounts to most events – in addition to making a positive contribution to WWT’s wetland conservation work. |
