New Four Storey Hotel Could Be Built Next to Stamford Bridge

Comments invited on planning application to replace La Reserve in Fulham Road

La Reserve, a long established hotel close to Stamford Bridge, looks set to be demolished and replaced with a slightly larger four storey hotel.

A company called Blakehampton Business Services has applied to Hammersmith and Fulham Council for planning permission to redevelop the site at 422 - 428 Fulham Road.

The application is for redevelopment of the site comprising the demolition of the existing hotel building and erection of a four storey plus basement building for use as a hotel.

The proposed hotel, designed by architects Ettwein Bridges would provide 70 rooms instead of the 43 provided by the current hotel. If permission was granted, it would be built as the Millennium and Copthorne Hotels within Chelsea Village were demolished to make way for a new Chelsea FC stadium.
