Young people aged 8 - 15 invited to join Youth Panel on Saturday

Saturday 25 June, 2pm - 4pm - Youth Panel

Fulham Palace has started a Youth Panel! This is a chance to get involved in what happens at the Palace from exhibitions to archaeology digs, family events to conservation work.

The palace says:

We want to work with young people who are looking for a fun sociable extracurricular activity and who want their voice heard at Fulham Palace. You might consider joining us if:

• You are interested in history, architecture, archaeology or art
• You want to tell us what Fulham Palace should be offering young people
• You want to add an impressive extracurricular activity to your CV
• You want to boost your employability through improving your teamwork, leadership and communication skills
• You want to find out about careers in museums
• You want to get involved in fun creative projects and meet new people at the same time.

Come along to our next session to find out what’s involved and be part of the development of the group at this exciting early stage!

Thursday 30 June, 6.30pm-9pm - For the Love of Flowers: A Short Introduction to Flower Arranging - SOLD OUT

During this relaxed evening workshop with florist Helen
Cranmer, learn how to prepare and condition flowers using cuttings from the historic Walled Garden.

Receive tuition on how to combine appropriate colours, textures, scents and shapes, followed by advice on how to prolong the life of your flowers and present them in your home. Students will leave with their very own pretty posy.

Hear the Palace’s history brought to life in these tales of the characters who lived here and stories inspired by our beautiful surroundings.

Free, no booking necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sunday 5 June, Thursday 9 Jun, 2pm - Garden Walk

Join this tour of the Fulham Palace garden and discover more about its history and the rare plants grown at the Palace today.

The garden has a long and fascinating history dating back to the Tudor period when Bishop Grindal introduced the tamarisk to England through to Bishop Compton’s famous collection of plants in the early 1700s.

Monday 5, 13, 20, 27 and Tuesday 7, 14, 21, 28 June, 10.30am-11.30am -Palace Explorers

Join the Palace Explorers, weekly parent/carer and toddler sessions for children aged 2-4.
