Wednesday July 15, 7pm - Fulham Palace Archaeology: The Orchard Dig

In October 2014 Fulham Palace undertook an archaeological dig in the historic Walled Garden to obtain data to assist in its restoration. Alexis Haslam from Pre Construct Archaeology presents the findings from the project, which involved a team of archaeology volunteers from the local community. £8 per person, £5 concessions. £1 discount for Fulham Palace and Bishop’s Park volunteers. Saturday July 18, 10.30am-12.15pm - Young Archaeologists’ Club
Did you know that the Holm oak on the main lawn is 500 years old? Imagine the stories it can tell! During the final YAC session this term join Ancient Woodwork specialist Damien Goodburn and learn about the different tools and woodwork that archaeologists have found that tell us more about how people lived and worked in the past. Try your hand at using ancient tools and learn from a leading expert archaeologist!

Saturday July 25, 10am-4pm - The Art of Flower Arranging

As summer flowers are blossoming at Fulham Palace, take part in this one day course led by professional florist Helen Cranmer and learn the basics of flower arranging.arranging.
During the course, you will use cuttings from the historic Walled Garden at Fulham Palace.

Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1, 7.30pm (gates open at 6.30pm) 606 Club Jazz at Fulham Palace

A fabulous weekend of entertainment hosted on the Main Lawn at the Palace in partnership with The 606 Club. Bring your friends, find a spot on the lawn and dance the night away under the stars.

Friday night features Tony O'Malley, unquestionably one of the most charismatic vocalists working in the UK. Saturday night features Kevin Fitzsimmons, a terrific vocalist with a captivating presence who performs in a style that is very much “straight-ahead”, hard-swinging jazz, as associated with Frank Sinatra and the “Rat Pack”.
