December 22, 6pm - Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
A traditional service for the season of Christmas. The story of humanity is told through nine Bible readings, from Genesis to the birth of Christ, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols and anthems.
December 24, 3.30pm and 5.30pm - Crib Services
Popular services for children retell the story of the Nativity. As a guide, the 3.30 service is for pre-schoolers, with the 5.30 service for school age children. Children are invited to attend dressed as shepherds and angels.

  The first Eucharist of Christmas, where we hear the story of the incarnation, the Word made flesh
  December 25, 8am - 8am  -Holy Communion, 10.30am - Family Eucharist.

December 24, 6pm - Crib Mass for Children; 11:30pm - Midnight Mass with Celebrant and Preacher: Fr Chris Rankine.
  December 25, 10:30am - Christmas Morning Mass
This Mass is also popular with children and families and is followed by a glass of sherry or soft. Following a St John's Christmas tradition younger members of the congregation are invited to bring a wrapped present to open which Fr Chris will use to base his sermon on.
