LGBTQ+ customers promised all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza on Saturday

 

The Chelsea Pensioner on Fulham Road is hosting Flirtura, a monthly event offering a welcoming space where LGBTQ+ customers can relax, meet friends and enjoy some fabulous entertainment.

 

The second Flirtura event, described as an all-singing, all-dancing monthly LGBTQ+ extravaganza on the borders of Fulham and Chelsea is on Saturday, 30 March.

The line up on Saturday includes regular host Alex Green and is Loud and Queerly super troupers The Happy Endings plus: X Factor’s Doctor Woof, Singing duo Supergreek, Dragtastic Ebony Rose Dark and TV Talent Judge Mr Fabulous, Jay Kamiraz.

Flirtura promoter Nikki Bradley says: "We have been made aware by our customers that 60% of LGBTQ+ venues in London have been closed in the past decade; while the area was previously very well served around Chelsea and Earl’s Court there are now fewer dedicated venues where LGBTQ+ people can meet and socialise locally.

"We wanted to do something about that and we are more than delighted to fill this space by providing top entertainment, glamour and laughs once a month at The Chelsea Pensioner."

Saturday's event follows Flirtura's launch night in February, which was a resounding success with top cabaret performances Alex Green, Supergreek, drag star Miss Krystal Ball and the multi award winning drag artist Tracy La Bouche.
