New King's Road pub showcases up and coming comics

The Southern Cross on New King's Road is hosting A & E Comedy on Thursday September 24, showcasing some of the best emerging stand-up comics.

Each of these shows, held on the last Thursday of each month, features six up and coming acts who have been cherry picked as having something different to offer.

This Thursday the lineup includes Henry Paker, who writes for Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Tony Dunn, a finalist in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2009 competition, plus Denis Krasnov, Luke McQueen and Ed Bainbridge.

Also appearing this week is newcomer Ellie Mason, who lives in Fulham and the MC for the evening is Adam Mason.

The evening begins at 8.30pm sharp and ends at 10.30pm. Tickets cost £5 each or you can can buy three for £10 while students can buy two for £5. To reserve a tickets call 07828 911353.
