Bare bikers will disrupt bus services this weekend
The tube strike may be over, with services returning to normal on Friday morning, but this weekend London faces more travel disruption - this time caused by naked cyclists!
Over 1,000 riders are expected to join The World Naked Bike Ride, which begins at 3pm in the south east corner of Hyde Park and then goes around six miles of Central London to end at Wellington Arch.
Transport for London warns that this will means severe delays to dozens of bus routes on Saturday afternoon, including 14, 22, 211 and 414, all serving Fulham.
This weekend, TfL also reports planning engineering work will cause the following tube disruption:
Hammersmith and City and Victoria Lines: no service on the entire lines on Saturday and Sunday.
Circle Line: Saturday and Sunday, suspended between King's Cross and Moorgate.
District Line: Southfields Station is closed Saturday and Sunday. A rail replacement bus operates between Southfields and East Putney.
Jubilee Line: no service on the entire line on Saturday and no service between Green Park and Stratford on Sunday. TfL advises that this, of course affects passengers going to The O2.
Piccadilly Line: Hyde Park Corner station is closed for improvement work on Sunday from 10pm and Hatton Cross Station is closed all weekend for improvement works.
London Overground: no service on Sunday between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction, running through West Brompton Station and between Richmond and Stratford.
