Bus routes 22 and 424 diverted with no right turn into New Kings Road
Continuing repairs to a burst water main by Thames Water has led to heavy congestion and traffic restrictions, with stop/go boards, at the junction of New Kings Road and Fulham High Street.
This means there is no right turn for motorists driving north of Putney Bridge Road and there are delays for traffic on both sides of the river, though Transport for London says traffic on the northbound lane of Putney Bridge itself is now flowing well.
TfL says roads affected are:
[A219] Fulham High Street (SW6) (All Directions)
Fulham High Street (SW6) (Northbound)
Gonville Street (SW6) (All Directions)
[A308] New Kings Road (SW6) (All Directions)
[A219] Putney Bridge Approach (SW6) (All Directions)
Rigault Road (SW6) (All Directions)
Station Approach (SW6) (All Directions)
Steeple Close (SW6) (All Directions)
Bus routes 22, 424 and N22 are being diverted onto Fulham Road rather than New Kings Road.
