Churchman Landscape Architects and Creative Process would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the South Park Consultation events and survey. We had a brillant response to the survey, with over 400 people giving us their views. The three events were attended by approximately 160 people. We have put the results of the workshops up online at www.southparkmasterplan.co.uk We have also put up the three Masterplan options for you to view and vote on, if you were unable to make the event last Saturday. Please have a look at the website at www.southparkmasterplan.co.uk <http://www.southparkmasterplan.co.uk> for the three options and to cast your vote. We have also arranged for the Masterplan options to be displayed at Fulham Library (598 Fulham Road Fulham SW6 5NX), if you would prefer to view them offline. You have until 24 June 2009 to vote. If you are voting online, please note it is one vote per household. Any problems or questions, please give me a call. Hi Sheila, I set out the press release below. The table top sale will be the new Portobello Let me know when we can meet and I will give you details of the community garden at Normand Park. Best wishes Annette PRESS RELEASE Bargains can be found at the new table top sales held on the last Sunday of every month in Normand Park, Lillie Road, London S W 6. These are the first table top sales to be held in Normand Park after its £2M redevelopment by the New Deal for Communities and is the brainchild of Friends of Normand Park Secretary Brenda Dunne and local resident Sue de St Aubin who hope to raise money for events for North Fulham kids aged 12 plus. To date there have been three table top sales each one bigger and better than the last. The sale on the 24th May had over 20 stalls selling everything from bric a brac to gardening equipment. It is hoped not only to attract local artists and potters to take stalls to appeal to a wide audience but local residents will be able to find bargains without traveling far. It will also bring business to the park and local traders should benefit from increased foot traffic. It must be the only sale where you can find bargains, get refreshments and take adip in Fulham Public Pools. The sales take place on the last Sunday of every month up to November from 9.a.m. to 3.p.m. Traders start setting up at 8.a.m. A space in the park costs £8.00 payable in advance and traders have to bring their own tables and chairs. The space must be booked in advance and you can do that by telephoning Brenda Dunne on 0785 2221993.
