“We’re extremely pleased and are particularly delighted with the outstanding judgements for pupil’s behaviour and early years’ provision,” says Sir John Lillie Primary headteacher Sue Hayward.

“Our pupils are extremely hard working and many, as noted in the report, achieve better than their peers nationally in reading, writing and maths.

“We will continue with our good work and further develop this in the future, providing the best outcomes for all in our community.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported the school.”

“Pupils and staff have had worked incredibly hard for this result and I’m delighted that inspectors have recognised this,” said Cllr Sue Macmillan, H&F Cabinet Member for Children and Education.

“But I know their efforts don’t stop here and they’re continuing to build on their success to ensure pupils continue to get an excellent education.”
