Bike Marking Event in Parsons Green

Make your cycle more secure on Thursday

A free bike marking event is being held outside Parsons Green Underground Station on Thursday July 25 between 4pm and 7pm.

Residents are encouraged to bring their bikes down for free marking which makes them easier to track and recover if stolen. The latest, police endorsed, security marking kits will be used which normally cost approximately £16.

The police also offer these tips to keep bikes safe from theft:

* Always secure your bike with a good quality D-lock
* Lock the bike through its frame and wheels to proper stands
* Never leaving your bicycle in an isolated place.
