Sing your way through London's history

Sing your way through local history at Fulham Library on Monday, June 22, from 6.30pm till 8.30pm.

This free Singing History of London Workship sees song leader Sam Lee lead a musical journey through our capital's songs and delve into the stories behind them.

Discover the meanings behind the rhymes of London's street traders, ballads of the Thames and songs of London Pride - then raise your voices and sing with gusto.

No experience is necessary, and you are invited whether you you love to sing, or if you think you can't sing a note.

Admission is entirely free and refreshments will be provided.

The workshop is based around A Singing History of London, a booklet produced by Sing London in partnership with English Folk Dance and Song Society, and funded by Museums, Libraries and Archives London.
