20 Firefighters Tackle Blaze in Mansion Flat

Bishops Park Road fire filmed by onlooker

Fire crews were called to a fire in a first floor mansion flat on Bishops Park Road in Fulham SW6, yesterday, Wednesday October 10.

A large part of the flat was alight, with smoke pouring out and four fire engines and around 20 firefighters from Hammersmith, Wandsworth, and Fulham fire stations spent around two hours getting the blaze under control and damping it down.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

The dramatic scene was captured on video by onlooker Christian B, who has uploaded it onto YouTube. You can see the firefighters in action here.
