Appeal for Witnesses to Shooting Incident in Rylston Road


No one injured when shots were fired at front door from car

Police have appealed for witnesses to a shooting incident which happened early on the evening of Tuesday July 29.

They say shots were fired at the front door of a house in Rylston Road by people in a car.

They were called at around 5.30pm on July 29 to an address near the Clem Attlee estate to reports of shots being fired and say it appears two cars pulled up outside the address before two people from the car fired shots at the front door.

Nobody was injured during the incident and no arrests have been made so far.

Detectives from the Met's Trident squad are now appealing for witnesses and information .

Acting Detective Sargeant Stephanie Dexter, says: " We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

" Shots were fired in broad daylight and someone could have been seriously injured. Anyone with information should contact us urgently."
