Rival Celebrations for Fulham's Football Clubs

With Santa doing double duty at both parties!

Fulham's football clubs are going head to head by holding rival Christmas celebrations at exactly the same time.

Both Fulham and Chelsea Football Clubs have announced they are partying on Thursday, December 10 from 6pm onwards.

Fulham supporters are invited to a festive evening attended by five First Team players, including goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

The evening will commence at 6pm with a choir, minced pies and mulled wine and a Santa's grotto for the kids.

At the other end of Fulham meanwhile, Chelsea FC is holding its annual free Carol Concert at 6pm in the Great Hall. As well as a seasonal singalong, there will be roasted chestnuts to eat and entertainment for the kids, with face painting and yes ... a visit from Santa Claus.

Both clubs are also hoping their fans also take the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping in their stores.  At Fulham, the Stadium Store will remain open throughout the day December 10 for supporters, and players will visit the store to sign autographs.

At Chelsea, star players Michael Essien, Ricardo Carvalho and Juliano Belletti will all take part in an hour-long signing session in the Megastore beginning at 4pm.

The players will sign all sorts of Chelsea memorabilia bought within the store. Chelsea says anyone planning to attend the Megastore signing should arrive early to avoid disappointment, and adds that it can't guarantee everyone will get to meet the players
