Fire engine attending after shoppers told to leave building

Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre has been evacuated on Sunday afternoon after a fire alert.

At around 2.15pm, alarms were heard both inside the centre and outside and shoppers were told to leave immediately.

A fire engine arrived within minutes, but people piling out onto the pavement could see no sign of a fire, and inside many others appeared to be ignoring the alarm.
