Gourmet Sushi and Argos Coming to Sainbury's Fulham Wharf

Stores within a store due to open on Townmead Road by end of month

Sainsbury's Fulham Wharf, on Townmead Road is adding two new stores within a store - Argos and Sushi Gourmet.

Both are due to open at the end of the month.

The move comes after Sainsbury’s acquired Home Retail Group, which owns Argos. The Argos digital store is the second to open in Fulham alongside the branch in North End Road.

There will also be an eBay collection point so buyers can collect their Ebay purchases.  

The new Sushi Gourmet outlet will offer a wide selection of fresh handmade sushi and teppanyaki products prepared fresh by skilled chefs in front of customers. 

Sushi Gourmet launched its first Sainsbury's sushi kiosk in 2016 and a further 30 counters are planned in Sainsbury’s stores over the next year. 

The store's manager Leigh Brown said: "We are looking forward to welcoming Argos and Sushi Gourmet to the store. 

"Customers are looking for easier, more convenient ways to shop and the Argos store will offer them an increased range of products at great value, all under one roof.

"Also we know sushi is becoming more and more popular and having a team of skilled sushi chefs in store will prove a real hit and complement the fresh food range we already offer to our customers."

The supermarket, along with other supermarkets in the borough, also has a Foodbank donation point and shoppers are urged to add one or two items to help people referred to H&F Foodbank in crisis.

• PASTA SAUCE (IN JARS)

The foodbank currently has plenty of:

• PASTA AND RICE
• TEA
• CEREAL BARS/SNACK BARS
