Jazz concert at London Oratory School

The Addison Singers' summer jazz concert comes to London Oratory School on Sunday July 12.

The theme of the show is Summer of Love, with classics such as Cole Porter’s Let's Do It, specially arranged by choir conductor Jill Jarman who has also brought her own touch to Lover Man and All of Me.

Other popular hits include Mr Sandman, Come Fly With Me, Sweet Georgia Brown, Falling in Love with Love, Days of Wine and Roses and It Had to be You. 

Guest player with the band will be violinist Elizabeth Edwards, who has worked on the soundtrack for the Harry Potter films and played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra.

The jazz concert is on July 12 at 7.30pm at the John

McIntosh Arts Theatre, London Oratory School in Seagrave Road. Tickets cost £10 or on the door or can be bought online for £9, or £7 for the over 65s and unemployed and £2 for under 16s. Go to WeGot Tickets
